Black Perdigone with red ringed ass (tungsten ball nymph)
Perdigones nymphs ("hunting lead") were invented quite recently by Spanish fishermen in the 2000s. They have a rather thin, conical and smooth body, varnished with UV resin and without a hairy thorax. The idea is to have a very easy penetration into the water allowing to reach the bottom quickly for a long fishing drift . The use of bright colors stimulates the aggressiveness of the fish.
They are now essential for fishing in currents and fast waters.
In this spirit our Perdigones are simple, all in efficiency. The use of a heavy tungsten ball allows a rapid penetration without using too large ball sizes, not very grippy.
It is necessary to have several sizes of the same model to adapt to the fishing depth and the speed of the current (see size and weight table)
The color of the ball can also be varied.
The black perdigone with red bottom is one of the most popular and used models. This model is also circled for an extra touch of realism.
