The benchmark nylon for knotted rigs

The Maxima Chameleon nylon, of German origin, is dyed in matte brown and does not transmit light, which makes it very inconspicuous, thus ensuring you more catches both dry and wet or nymph.

The Maxima Chameleon line, a classic for good reason, is very resistant to abrasion, knots and UV rays: it is the reference nylon with a very good quality/price ratio for tying many knotted leaders.

This line is appreciated for its rigidity which transmits casting energy well. Once mounted at the bottom of the line, it can nevertheless be softened by passing it through boiling water if necessary. This also makes it more elastic.

On the other hand, it has a certain memory when winding on the reel: it can be straightened with a straightener if necessary (see accessories section).

Note that the use of Maxima Chameleon is generally not recommended as a tip unless you are looking for a very rigid tip: our Exceline, Cameo or fluorocarbon yarns are much more suitable for this use.
