Our actions in favor of ecology and sustainable development
We are firmly committed to a responsible and humane ecology and to promoting sustainable development, limiting the unnecessary consumption of resources. We are concerned with helping to preserve our rivers, their flora and their fauna.
In this spirit, we are implementing a few simple and concrete actions in line with this commitment, some of which also allow us to limit costs and offer attractive prices:

All our shipments are automatically carbon offset "carbon neutral": the carbon impact of shipping your orders is automatically assessed and a small amount of your shipping costs is allocated to actions allowing the compensation of CO2 emissions related to the delivery. Thus the carbon footprint of our expeditions is neutral. This is done automatically by the Planet application of our partner Shopify and attested by the logo present at the base of our home page. Avoid over-packaging : our products are often delivered in a simple recyclable plastic bag, that of the supplier when possible. We do not package the lines with useless plastic reels and cardboard boxes. The switch to paper bags is planned for suitable products.

Use of recycled packaging (cardboard, bubble wrap, cushioning) for shipments when available (packaging mainly from deliveries from our suppliers)

Use of salvaged newspapers for wedging packages rather than new kraft paper.

Notices and invoices sent by email avoiding unnecessary printing

No lead wire in our shelves but lead-free weight wire

Devaux Monomaster accessory allowing the recovery of pieces of nylon to avoid the pollution of our rivers

Products made of PLA, a bio-sourced and recyclable material . 3D printing saving the material consumed: Adapter large harbor semi-automatic reels also avoiding the change of reel, tool for tying flies, etc...

Hooks essentially without barbless (some references are with barbless for lack of equivalent): we advise the systematic crushing of the barb if present except if you take all the caught fish.
