The die-cast construction allows for an incredibly lightweight design not possible with CNC machining processes. An all new durable ratchet system completes the design to make this the ultimate lightweight trout reel.

This reel is equipped with a ratchet system (and not a disc brake) which is intended to prevent the reel from racing when the line is taken out. The braking of a fish must be carried out classically by hand on the line, which corresponds to the practice of many fishermen. This system finds its full advantage on modern light rods in very high modulus carbon by allowing to have an ultra light reel perfectly balancing the rod and facilitating your casting. It is nevertheless necessary to accept the absence of a classic brake and the noise of the pawl.
