La Grey Wulff (créée par Lee Wulff) est une imitation d'éphémère (danica, vulgata) dite aussi mouche de mai , à son stade de sub-imago, lorsque qu'elle apparait à la surface de l'eau dans des coloris gris (dun) (les femelles ne prendront leurs coloris caractéristiques jaune crème qu'au stade d'imago).

La grey Wulff est une mouche sèche de début de saison (Avril, Mai et Juin) qui, par sa visibilité et sa flottaison haute, permet de pêcher même des courants rapides.

A utiliser lorsque que le temps est gris ou pluvieux, ces conditions retardant le passage au stade imago.

Elle est montée sur des hameçons de qualité premium sans ardillon
