A SPEY rod for practicing two-handed casting in large rivers

This 13'6" #8 power SPEY rod will allow you to practice two-handed casting on large rivers for salmon, sea trout, and shad fishing in particular. It can also be used in lakes, reservoirs, or the sea.

Its 8-layer high modulus IM10 (30+40 tonnes) multi-directional carbon blank offers a progressive action well suited to Spey casting.

It has a very long 29cm handle and a 12cm combat handle .

The screw-down reel seat allows for better balancing of this long rod.

The rod is superbly made with an anodized aluminum "sea" reel seat with double tightening ring, an AAA cork handle, two Pacbay minima starting rings, hard chrome serpentine guides resistant to sea water. The presence of alignment points completes the finish and will be very useful to you.

The matte black blank (glossy on the first half of the strand) with orange-red ligatures and markings is superb.

The rod comes in a cordura tube and fabric case.
