Transform your Vivarelli reel (old model) into a large harbor!

The adapter we offer is an ideal solution for transforming your old generation Vivarelli reel spools ( 16.4 mm wide between flanges ) at a lower cost into a ' large harbor ' with an axis diameter more than doubled: 37 or 47mm .

The Vivarelli reel is very popular in PALM for its solidity and lightness, especially for fishing in fast waters and nymphs, even for toc . A disadvantage of this reel is nevertheless the small diameter of the shaft (18.4mm) which tends to twist the line and reduces the speed of recovery and therefore fishing. The usual solution by adding backing unnecessarily weighs down the reel and makes drying longer and more difficult when returning from fishing, as well as crafts using foam or other materials.

The adapter is exclusively designed for the spools of the classic Vivarelli graphite semi-automatic reel. It consists of two interlocking half-pieces that can be securely attached to the reel by side screws. The adapter can be dismantled and reassembled several times if necessary.

Metallic black in color, it is very discreet once mounted on the reel.

There are several models to adapt perfectly to your style of fishing and your equipment:

2 diameters of 37 and 47mm : the 37mm model can accommodate a natural or synthetic DT3 line and a little backing if necessary; the 47mm model is intended for those who fish in nymph with only wire or toc;
2 weights: a light model (L) that does not weigh down the reel is ideal for those who are looking for lightness or do not wish to disturb the current balance of their rod/reel assembly. The heavy model (P) slightly improves the static rod/reel balance for rods that are a little too heavy at the head. Its weight shifts the balance point depending on the type of rod by approximately 0.8 cm towards the heel of the rod for the VR47P.
