Floating lines are the most common for fishing dry flies , wet flies or nymphs from the surface.

WF " Weight Forward " offset profile lines are the most common these days and a good choice for beginners: the first 9 meters of the line (closest to the fly) are heavier while the rest of the running line is thinner.

This profile allows easy casting at short distances (<9m) thanks to the weight of the line and then to easily extend the casts during the 'shoot', the rear part being light and offering little friction on the rings.

This line is well suited for all fishing where medium to long casts are required: large rivers , lakes and reservoirs

It is available in weights of 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9. Weight #6 is particularly suitable for learning to cast (requiring a slightly heavy line to feel the action of the rod) and also for fishing in reservoirs or lakes requiring the power to propel slightly heavy nymphs and streamers .

In weight #6 and #8 only, it is offered with a loop at each end which makes it easier to assemble the backing and leader, especially for beginners.

The yellow and orange-yellow colors allow for maximum visibility, particularly useful when learning to cast, and don't worry, it doesn't really bother the trout either with a leader of sufficient length!).
