This high-performance fly rod from MAXCATCH is primarily designed for dry fly fishing in lakes and large rivers, while also being perfectly usable in many other conditions and techniques such as streamer or sight nymphing.

It offers you the highest level of performance and a luxurious finish for an affordable price. With its fast action , it allows the fly fisherman to make long-distance precision casts . We offer it in 9 feet #6 line, offering significant power to cast large flies, counter the wind or control very large fish.

Its blank uses 5 layers of a very high modulus IM12/40-46 Tonnes carbon offering high level casting performance with a very low weight (88g ).

The build quality is superb and based on selected components: Seaguide ceramic starter ring, 8 hard chrome-plated anti-corrosion serpentine guides, oversized tip ring, CNC machined aluminum reel seat, AAA+ cork handle. The thread is grooved providing a fixed positioning of the clamping ring and therefore easy and quick reel assembly.

The rod is delivered in a protective, compartmentalized, rectangular-section cordura tube (does not roll).
