Backing is essential for fishing in lakes and large rivers when you are likely to encounter large, combative fish.

This backing is made of braided polyester. It has high strength (30 pounds) and very low stretch. It has a soft surface that glides well and does not attack the rings. It is also hydrophobic.

This very high resistance model (30 pounds) is sold in spools of 91m and 274m to equip your largest reels with a great backing length without connection.
