Transform your Peux Revival #4/5 spool (for Vivarelli reel) into a large harbor!

The adapter we offer is an ideal solution to transform your Peux Revival # 4/5 (small axis) spools for Vivarelli reels at a lower cost into a ' large harbor ' with a double axis diameter or more: 40 or 52 mm ( equal to the diameters of Peux Revival #2/3 or TOC Spools).

The Vivarelli reel is very popular in PALM for its solidity and lightness, especially for fishing in fast waters and nymphs, even for toc . The adaptable Peux Revival spools add a high quality drag. A disadvantage of this reel, which remains on the Peux #4/5 spool, is nevertheless the small diameter of the shaft (18.4mm or 22mm) which tends to twist the line and reduces the speed of recovery and therefore fishing. The usual solution by adding backing unnecessarily weighs down the reel and makes drying longer and more difficult when returning from fishing, as well as crafts using foam or other materials.

The adapter is exclusively designed for Peux Revival #4/5 coils to the exclusion of any other model. It consists of two interlocking half-pieces. A hole is also provided for attaching the backing to the reel . The adapter can be dismantled and reassembled several times if necessary, so you retain the possibility of returning at will to the initial capacity of your Peux #4/5 spool.

Metallic black in color, it is very discreet once mounted on the reel.

There are several models to adapt perfectly to your style of fishing and your equipment:

2 diameters of 40 and 52 mm : the 40 mm model can accommodate a natural or synthetic DT3 line and a little backing if necessary; the 52mm model is intended for those who fish in nymph with only wire or toc;
2 weights: a light model (L) that does not weigh down the reel is ideal for those who are looking for lightness or do not wish to disturb the current balance of their rod/reel assembly. The heavy model (P) slightly improves the static rod/reel balance for rods that are a little too heavy at the head. Its weight shifts the point of balance depending on the type of rod by approximately 1 cm towards the heel of the rod for the PR52P.
