High N Dry Floating + Desiccant Powder for Fly

High N Dry Floater + Desiccant is a powder that dramatically increases the buoyancy of your flies or bite indicators and is combined with a desiccant that dries out a waterlogged or fish-filled fly. The primary use for floater powders is to revitalize the materials and buoyancy of your fly when it begins to drown and look unkempt.

Simply hold the fly in the generous opening of the container, put the lid on and give it a little shake. The powder will then settle around the fly materials and the fly will be ready to use and very buoyant. Powdered floaters can alter the colours of the fly, especially on lined bodies. You may therefore choose to brighten the colours by adding Gel Floatant, Liquid Spray Floatant or Liquid Floatant after the powder.

The float comes in a high density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle with a flip-top cap for easy use. The wide opening allows even the largest flies to fit into the container.

All desiccants have a shelf life, which is why the product comes with a pressure sealed lid to prevent moisture from being absorbed into the desiccant before purchase. The bottle contains orange indicator crystals. These crystals will turn green when the desiccant has absorbed its maximum moisture and is no longer drying your flies.
