The rod being fixed vertically you will avoid problems of being dragged by the current or even breakage against obstacles encountered with other designs. It can also complement a belt rod holder for maximum security and freedom.

Support delivered with a 50cm extendable service button with clip attachment on the vest or chest pack. (Note: for long/heavy rods, the spring on the service button may be too weak; in this case replace the button with a simple cord).
