This rod is primarily intended for dry fly fishing in medium to small rivers. It is ideal for all fine fishing at medium distance: its length of 8 feet 6 inches is a perfect compromise between compactness and power. Designed for a WF4 line weight allowing easy casts at medium distance and supporting medium-sized flies, it can also excel with a very discreet DT3 line in small rivers. It can of course also be used for wading in large rivers by getting a little closer to the fish: grayling fishing for example.

Its progressive action of moderate speed allows you a perfect presentation and a great pleasure of use. It will also allow you to use very fine and discreet leader tips by naturally cushioning the departure of beautiful fish. This type of action also makes it accessible to the resourceful beginner who wants a good rod to progress in the river.

This is a very high-performance rod for anglers not looking for very long distances (most fish are caught at less than 10m) and has nothing to envy from the best fast rods, very fashionable but not very suitable for the types of fishing described here.

Its Korean-made blank uses 5 layers of high-modulus IM12/40 Tons (56 PSI) carbon, an unusual quality for this type of moderate-speed rod, and offers very low weight, only 85g! Although this is less the program for this rod, this blank nevertheless allows good casters to release 30m of line if necessary.

The level of finish is very high for a very competitive price: 2 starting rings with Pacbay minima ring Tichrome insert, hard chrome serpentine guides, oversized tip ring, CNC machined aluminum reel seat with cork insert, AAA cork handle.

The rod is delivered in a compartmentalized cordura protective tube that effectively protects your rod.
