Transform your Peux Revival #4/5 spool (for Vivarelli reel) into a large harbor!

The adapter we offer is an ideal solution to transform at low cost your Peux Revival # 4/5 spools (small shaft) for Vivarelli reels into ' large harbor ' with a shaft diameter doubled or more: 40 or 52 mm (equal to the diameters of the Peux Revival #2/3 or TOC spools).

PLEASE NOTE: This version is for older Peux Revival coils - 24.60mm inner diameter, 10-prong coil. Please check carefully before ordering. Another model is available for newer 8-prong coils.

The Vivarelli reel is very popular in PALM for its solidity and lightness, especially for fishing in fast waters and nymphs, or even for toc . The adaptable Peux Revival spools add a high-quality brake. A disadvantage of this reel, which remains on the Peux #4/5 spool, is nevertheless the small diameter of the axis (18.4mm or 22mm) which tends to twist the silk and reduces the recovery speed and therefore the fishing speed. The usual solution of adding backing unnecessarily weighs down the reel and makes drying longer and more difficult when returning from fishing, as do DIY projects based on foam or other materials.

The adapter is exclusively designed for Peux Revival #4/5 reels, excluding any other model. It consists of two half-pieces that fit together. A hole is also provided for attaching the backing to the reel . The adapter can be disassembled and reassembled several times if necessary, so you can return to the initial capacity of your Peux #4/5 reel at will.

Metallic black in color, it is very discreet once mounted on the reel.

It comes in several models to perfectly suit your fishing style and equipment:

• 2 diameters of 40 and 52 mm : the 40 mm model can accommodate a natural or synthetic DT3 silk line and a little backing if necessary; the 52 mm model is intended for those who fish with nymphs using only line or with a float;
• 2 weights: a light model (L) that does not weigh down the reel is ideal for those looking for lightness or who do not want to disturb the current balance of their rod/reel combination. The heavy model (P) allows you to slightly improve the static rod/reel balance for rods that are a little too head-heavy. Its weight moves the balance point, depending on the type of rod, by approximately 1 cm towards the butt of the rod for the PR52P.

The design is proprietary to meilleursmoucheurs.fr, which markets the product exclusively. It is also manufactured in France.

The adapter is made of PLA , a bio-sourced material, and uses little material thanks to 3D printing.

Different customizations are possible at your request

- Specific color option : The adapter can be made in a specific color by purchasing the corresponding option and indicating the desired color ( special instructions to be completed in the ordering process). We particularly recommend the following metallic colors : whose appearance is remarkable like our standard metallic black model: Aluminum, Blue, Ochre, Red, Green and Purple . Production time of approximately 1 week. Other non-metallic colors are possible on request.

- Adaptation to other similar reel models : we can carry out an adaptation for similar reels.
