Its standard length of 9 feet (2m70) and its weight of #5 are the most versatile in dry fly if you only have one rod. We advise to begin casting to associate it with a WF #6 line (a higher number therefore) in order to facilitate the acquisition of the sensations necessary for a good cast which requires a sufficient weight of line. The action of the rod is medium / slow and therefore less demanding on the timing of casting than a fast action rod, which is perfect for learning. The action is not parabolic but progressive action which avoids excessive flexibility which would quickly limit the progression.

The rod is carefully crafted using simple yet high-quality components. The presence of alignment points for assembling the four sections and a fly keeper are real pluses that are very useful when fishing.
