Braid for ultra-resistant Snake Skin-like™ tips!

SNAKE SKIN-LIKE™ (registered trademark) braids are hand woven, primed, and CDC oiled.

Very resistant, they allow you to fish ultra fine : The 0.035 braid is probably the finest fly fishing line in the world and has the resistance of a good 12/100 nylon (1.350kg)!

They are impregnated with natural resins and CDC oil.

These braids do not break the surface tension of the water and "float" high, thus minimizing dragging. Thanks to the micro-grooves which increase their surface area and trap micro-air bubbles, to the coatings and primers applied to them, notably based on CDC polymerized oils, and to the possible discreet greasing before the fishing action.

Naturally quite stiff and without memory, they transmit energy well when throwing.

Premier essai très satisfaisant

J'ai fait un premier essai en seche avec ce produit sauf la pointe que je gardé pour le moment en crin classique le plus important pour moi et la pénétration dans avec cette finesse et cette solidité, pas de mémoire pas de splash à la tombée dans l eau très pratique pour lancer courbe

Bonjour,
je trouve que la tresse flotte un peu trop même avec deux nymphes, les noeuds sont difficiles à réaliser(noeud de cuillère, baril, chirurgien) jonction entre nylon et tresse.
Comme tout produit innovant je pense qu'il faut changer sa façon de faire pour en tirer plus de bénefices.

Merci pour votre retour. La tresse étant surtout conçue pour la pêche en sèche effectivement elle est très flottante. Sa flottabilité pourra diminuer en évitant de la re-graisser. Concernant les noeuds, effectivement il faut s'adapter à ce matériau: pour l'aboutage soie/bas de ligne le fabricant conseille un noeud ligaturé (je vous envoie le descriptif par email). Pour les autres noeuds et notamment nylon/tresse, je vous recommande d'essayer le noeud en 8.
